When I first began learning how to use Photoshop back in high school, I had no idea I would get to the point I am at today. If you have been a frequent reader and read my second ever blog post, you would know that I began learning Photoshop in order to create a Snapchat Geofilter for my school (which you can learn how to do in one of my recent blog posts here!). Back then, that was as far ahead as I was thinking. Skip forward to the present day, I am now very well versed with both Photoshop and Illustrator while also starting to dabble in 3D modeling. On top of that, I have been, for the better part of this year, posting daily art pieces that would blow me away in high school. With my new confidence in my ability to create almost anything, I have begun wanting to make this more than just a hobby.
In this year so far, especially these last few weeks, I have been spending a lot of time and effort on my artwork and growing my name as a well-versed artist and designer. This includes things like my Instagram account Seeing__Colors, my website, and this very blog! My art and designs are now integral parts of not only my life but who I am as a person. I cannot imagine a day where I am not creating something. So due to this growing obsession with art and design in all aspects of my life, I want to be more than just a hobbyist with an art page. I want to be a professional making an income off of his work. With this goal in mind, I am now in the works of taking my next step into the art world. While this step is nerve-racking and will require a lot of work, it is definitely something I want to do. That being said, many new projects are in the works and I cannot wait to unveil them and to continue writing to you about them! I'm incredibly optimistic about my future in design, and a large part of that optimism is due to the people who support me, which is why I am ending this blog thanking you guys for your continued faith in me and my skills. I can't wait to continue growing alongside you guys.
Thank you so much!
