As I begin attracting more followers on my Instagram page, I am starting to think of different ways to provide valuable and interesting content. As of a few weeks ago, I realized I was not doing enough to really grow my account and gain the exposure I was wanting. I posted only once every other two or three days with only a single Instagram story post to announce it. Looking back at this now, I can't believe I was expecting more from my efforts or lack thereof.

So to change my ways I began researching different techniques and posting schedules to try and understand what works best in the Instagram space today. In my search, I came across the amazing entrepreneur/professional speaker/motivator/a thousand other things, Gary Vaynerchuk. If you don't know who this is, go and watch one of his videos on YouTube after finishing this article, like the one down below. The man is insanely successful with his predominant success being VaynerMedia. However, that is not to take away from his many other prosperous projects like his vlog, the #DailyVee, or his countless inspirational videos on YouTube.

Nonetheless, I began watching his videos to understand how to grow my following on Instagram and how to engage my audience. In the time that I took to watch these videos, I had come up with ideas for the future of Seeing__Colors.

First off, today you will notice that I have posted my first IGTV video called StepByStep. This series of videos will now be a common thing to see on my account as it allows me to show my audience my creative process while also serving as possible inspiration for those who follow me. Secondly, if you follow me on Instagram (If you don't go follow me here, it's worth it!), expect to see some collaborations with other artists in the future! I am doing this not just to gain new views on my posts, but also to work with the community I am in. I am looking to work with people in my same position because I believe collaboration and teamwork is what really drives creativity and produces a positive outcome. When you bounce your ideas off of someone else and they add in their take or their idea, magic stuff can happen!

So overall, expect to see much more content being shared on all my social fronts. This is a very exciting time for me and I hope that you will hop on for the ride!
