I hope everyone has had a great start to the weekend and are ready for this week's top ten countdown. This weekend, I will be counting down my favorite TV series. However, when I say this, I mean any show on any platform. So they can be a Netflix or Hulu Original as well! So without further or do, here are my top ten favorite TV series:

10. The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead is an amazing series made by AMC. It follows the story of a man named Rick Grimes and other survivors after a zombie apocalypse. They have just finished their eighth season this past April and the story has just been incredible. It is a bit more on the gory side in terms of the fighting, both with "walkers" and other survivors, but overall it is nothing too crazy. However, if you are a fan of deep storylines and getting to really understand characters, this is a show for you!

9. The Office

The Office is the most classic TV series of all time, hands down. It is a mockumentary series that follows the lives of employees at Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch. The show is incredibly hilarious and is still enjoyable even after watching it 1000 times. If you are in your teens or 20s and somehow still haven't watched this, please do yourself a favor and start the first season. You will definitely not be sorry!

8. Gravity Falls

Gravity Falls is an awesome gem of Disney XD. It follows two young siblings, Dipper and Mable, as they spend the summer at their great uncle's museum in the small town of Gravity Falls. However, don't let the network that it is on fool you. The show is filled with high level humor and has an incredibly dense and deep story to it. I first decided to watch this series because of its ties with Rick and Morty in the form of a subtle crossover. In fact, the creator of Gravity Falls, Alex Hirsch, is actually really good friends with Justin Roiland, the creator of Rick and Morty. It has since become one of my favorite shows that I still watch today!

7. Riverdale

Riverdale is easily the newest show on this list, but also one of the best. It is a show that has transformed the characters and setting of the popular comic series, Archie, into an incredible drama about high school students dealing with the happenings of the small town of Riverdale. I must admit, I am a sucker for these types of dramas, but I can say in an objective manner that this show has fantastic writing paired with a very talented cast. When I started watching the show, I couldn't stop watching until I ran out of episodes to watch. The series just finished up its second season and is currently all on Netflix. So if you are looking for that next show to binge, give this one a shot.

6. Pretty Little Liars

The series, Pretty Little Liars, follows somewhat of the same scenario as Riverdale. It is a show that takes place in the small town of Rosewood and follows a group of friends who have one of their own go missing. The series is currently over, but you can find all the episodes on Netflix. If you enjoy these sort of teen dramas, Pretty Little Liars is definitely the show for you!
