To continue my top 10 list from yesterday, here are the remaining five video games that are my absolute favorites. This next set of five is really reaching back to the good old days of my childhood. Back when games were all about the story and their content rather than how many micro-transactions they can force onto players!
5. Chibi-Robo!

This game is easily the most unique game relative to the rest in this list. Chibi-Robo! is a platformer for the GameCube where you play as a small little robot with an electrical plug for a tail. Essentially you have to run around trying to accumulate as many Happy Points as possible. You do this by doing good deeds for your owners which included cleaning up various different messes. Overall, I remember having a ton of fun with this game and I really wish I could play it again!
4. Backyard Football

This game is so incredibly fun! Other kids might have been playing Madden back in the day, but I was there playing the much more fun version, Backyard Football. It plays as any other football game, however, you play as kids in a backyard instead of professional players. I just remember playing this game with my friends for hours and it just never got old!
3. Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix

This game definitely kept me active as a child. I would play Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix until it looked like I had actually performed on stage. The songs were so catchy and had that signature Mario sound to them which made it that much better. Definitely one of those games that I wish I could play again!
2. LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy

This game was the perfect combination of two things I loved as a kid: Lego and video games. LEGO Star Wars II is an action-adventure game that let you follow the events of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. I honestly think I liked this game so much because it was Lego themed. The big thing I remember about it was trying to unlock every single character because this was back when micro-transactions didn't ruin games!.
1. Animal Crossing

This game is one we all know and love, at least if you are around your late teens or early 20s. Animal Crossing is a simulation game where you are the newest member of this small town. The game-play is completely open-ended so you can do pretty much anything you want. It was this feature that made the game appeal to me so much. I remember spending a lot of time trying to make my house in the game look perfect. Overall, the game was and still is a fantastic play that I need to get back to at some point!
And there you have it, my top 10 favorite video games of all time. Let me know down below if you have any games you really like that you didn't see in my list!
