This weekend has been a big one so far for everyone involved in the very popular game Fortnite! So with this excitement in the air, I decided that for my weekend top 10 I will list out my favorite video games of all time! These are in no particular order:

10. Fortnite

This game has had such a quick rise to fame. Only coming out in July of last year, Fortnite is one of the most popular games right now and I cannot get enough of it. In short, it a battle royale game which pits 100 players against each other to see who will come out on top. However, the secret sauce this game brings to the genre is the element of building which makes gunfights much more interesting!

9. Fallout 4

This game was the first ever open-world RPG I had played and I am so happy it was. Made by Bethesda Game Studios, Fallout 4 is the seventh installment, fifth if you are only counting the games in cannon, in the Fallout franchise. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland that carries the style of 60s Americana. I hold this game very close to my heart and will happily play it 1000 more times! 8. SSX Tricky

This game was a staple of my childhood! SSX Tricky is a snowboard racing game that was so unique for its time. Coming out in 2001, my brother and I were addicted to its amazing soundtrack and enjoyable gameplay. I honestly think this game is near perfect and, if you can, you should definitely give it a try!

7. Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure

This game was another staple of my childhood. Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure was a semi-open-world skateboarding game that let you skate with many iconic Disney characters. Looking back at the game today, I still think it looks incredibly fun! In fact, I just recently started listening to the soundtrack again and it is still fantastic. Overall, this was a great game that made me so happy as a kid.

6. Minecraft

This game was basically all I played during my four years in high school. Minecraft is a sandbox building game that took the world by storm back in 2009. What I mean by sandbox is that this was a game where you can do and build anything that you can think of. I am talking working computers, games inside a game, roller-coasters, interactive stories, and so much more. Thanks to all these possibilities my creativity skyrocketing while playing this game and I honestly believe it was a crucial stepping stone in how I got to where I am today with my design.

Stay tuned for the next five games tomorrow!
